Java MicroServices Development ALIP
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a strong senior developer with 10 years of relevant experience in ALIP product features development. ALIP is a policy administration system used by life and annuity insurance companies.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong and relevant 10 years of experience in Insurance projects and 5 years of experience in ALIP.
- Focuses on the Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform (ALIP). ALIP developers work on various aspects of the platform including:
- Development and Deployment - Contribute to the development enhancement and deployment of ALIP solutions.
- Product Configuration - Configure ALIP products based on client requirements potentially using configurable product templates.
- Software Engineering - Apply software engineering principles best practices and methodologies like Agile JIRA and RTM.
- Data Handling - Work with data cleaning transformation and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Testing and Analysis - Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure the quality and integrity of the application.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging tools like Java and SQL. ALIP developers also need a strong understanding of the insurance industry particularly life and annuity policies.
- Continually optimizing for better efficiency.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Insurance business processes.
Behavioral Skills:
- Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.
- Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
- Self-Motivated with strong delivery focus.
