Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (with potential extension up to 26 weeks)
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM 36 hours/week (3x12s) Includes every other weekend
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $50 $56/hour
Facility Salary (perm): $70000 $104000
Orientation: 2nd & 4th Monday of each month

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical unit at our 25-bed nonprofit critical access hospital. This is a night shift role primarily serving adult patients with occasional pediatric cases.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver patient-centered care across adult med/surg observation outpatient swing bed and occasional pediatric settings

Utilize the nursing process for clinical decision-making and patient care planning

Collaborate with the Unit Director Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor to ensure continuity of care

Provide holistic care addressing physical emotional psychosocial spiritual and developmental needs

Minimum of 3 years acute care experience (Med/Surg strongly preferred)

Vermont RN license or compact/multi-state RN license

BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required

Familiarity with Meditech preferred

This is not a pediatric unit do not submit pediatric-only RNs

Travel Terms:-
Assignments capped at 26 weeks total (initial 13-week contract with a one-time 13-week extension)
