We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in beautiful Bar Harbor Maine. This is a full-time contract position with no on-call weekend or holiday shifts.

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation administration and documentation of radiopharmaceuticals and will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures. You will also oversee and maintain the Hot Lab ensuring proper handling storage and documentation of radioactive materials. Patient care and safety are a top priority and you will assess and monitor patients throughout their procedures.

• Prepare mix and administer radiopharmaceuticals

• Maintain and operate Hot Lab in compliance with regulatory standards

• Schedule and coordinate exams with radiologists and other healthcare personnel

• Position and monitor patients during imaging procedures

• Provide age-appropriate care across a variety of medical/surgical patient populations

• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately in case of changes or emergencies

• Current Maine Nuclear Medicine Technologist License

• Previous clinical experience in nuclear medicine

• Strong attention to safety compliance and patient care

• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
