Regional Medical Center is a JCAHO-accredited health center serving a 4400-square-mile area in Northwestern Arizona including the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care OB/GYN surgery ophthalmology dental orthopedics and urology.
This unique facility provides care in a culturally diverse community comprised of Navajo Hopi Southern Paiute and other backgrounds. The medical and dental teams include a broad array of specialists and the facility is staffed with a full range of healthcare professionals.
Job Summary:The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for processing specimens performing high-complexity testing and reporting results in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies. This hospital laboratory provides services in:

This is a night shift position (6:00 PM 5:00 AM) with rotational coverage including weekends holidays and occasional overtime.
Requirements:-
Experience: Minimum 1 year of documented bench experience in each specialty area of high-complexity clinical laboratory testing

Education:

Bachelors degree in a laboratory-related field (laboratory chemical physical or biological sciences; Allied Health; Healthcare Management etc.)

Minimum 35 credit hours of coursework related to clinical laboratory sciences (e.g. microbiology organic chemistry biochemistry mathematics)
