We are looking to hire an HR Generalist who will be working from both offices in Long Beach & Fullerton!
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Employment Type: Full-Time; Exempt

Salary: $70000- $80000
Job Responsibilities: The HR Generalists primary focus is to lead and grow the FLAG HR & Compliance program via multiple venues such as Payroll EHS Employee Relations and other internal departments. The purpose being to provide a strong infrastructure for internal employees support our drive for quality and support FLAGs growth and scaling. The HR Generalist is responsible for the implementation and management of HR processes for payroll WC claims and performance management. Additionally the HR Generalist supports all internal FLAG departments with auxiliary support items such as training logs awards & recognition etc.
- Responsible for managing the FSG members and successfully collecting timecards processing and auditing weekly payroll via ADP with minimal to no discrepancies.
- Support the FSG onboarding of new FLAG contractors ensuring Welcome Calls and Emails are being conducted along with the accompanying weekly audit.
- Keeps up to date with relevant employment law changes pertaining to the staffing industry and incorporates the changes into the operational practices.
- Support the Performance Management of internal producers to ensure they are meeting basic performance standards and support managers with Performance improvement plans.
- Manage Workers Compensation claims by being the liaison between FLAG contractors Insurance Brokers and medical institutions.
- Help maintain an active pipeline of candidates for producer roles from local colleges and universities.
- Partner with the marketing department on occasion to support internal events campaigns incentives and initiatives and FLAG accreditations.
- Provides weekly updates to the management team regarding payroll accounting and workers compensation along with action items and next steps.
- Lead People & Culture practices such as birthdays awards & recognition quarterly and annual events.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Direct experience with staffing/recruiting.
- California & Federal Compliance practices.
- SHRM/ PHR familiarity.
- Payroll WC claims Performance Management
- Proficiency with MS Suite ADP as well as other platforms.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with accuracy and efficiency.
- Efficient organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Resiliency and adaptability when navigating a fast-paced and dynamic Founder culture.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Years of Experience: 4-6 years of job- related experience.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in staffing/recruiting marketing (preferred)
- Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish (required)
