Were currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to join our finance team and help shape the financial backbone of our growing organization.
Position Summary
As the Accounting Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department ensuring financial accuracy operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Youll collaborate closely with leadership to inform strategic decisions mentor a team of accounting professionals and drive continuous improvement across all areas of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements forecasts and variance reports.
- Oversee general ledger operations accounts payable/receivable and revenue recognition.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP tax regulations and internal policies.
- Partner with operational departments to analyze costs improve efficiency and manage budgets.
- Supervise and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit preparation.
- Implement process improvements and support systems enhancements in financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite Oracle QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
