Job Title: JEE Solutions Engineer
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing highly available scalable multi-tier applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) with strong knowledge of data structures algorithms software design principles and JEE design patterns on IBM platforms.
- Proven expertise in developing enterprise applications using Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.6 or higher.
- Strong background working with Oracle 10g or higher including advanced PL/SQL programming for data-driven application development.
- Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining enterprise-level code using Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) and Java Persistence API (JPA)/Hibernate for object-relational mapping and business logic implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership in Agile or Iterative development environments overseeing the planning design implementation and integration of complex JEE-based systems.
- Experience developing web applications using JavaServer Faces (JSF) within IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1 or higher ensuring responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
- Skilled in developing and deploying applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server version 7.0 or higher ensuring robust and reliable enterprise deployments.
- Proficient in working with IBM WebSphere MQ and developing Java web services using JAXB and JAX-WS enabling secure and efficient messaging and integration.
- Specialized experience in developing implementing and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing at the state or federal level including but not limited to: disposition processing fingerprint identification criminal history updates sex offender management wanted/missing person tracking and offender supervision initiatives.
