Job Description
Position: IT Network Engineer
Location: Walkersville MD-On-site (5 days a week office)
Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Aruba or equivalent switches and WAPs.
- Familiarity with server connectivity structured cabling and network topology design.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds Nagios PRTG).
- Proven ability to manage data center environments including power cooling and hardware layout.
- Experience supporting OT environments ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in system imaging and deployment solutions like MDT PXE Boot or SCCM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Pharma industry is a plus
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
- CompTIA A/Network or Security.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and documentation standards.
- Experience with remote site IT support and field deployments.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
