Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Process Technician Foam Systems
Automotive Manufacturing Wixom MI
Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM 1:30 AM) Training on 1st Shift for 6 8 Months

Our customer a leader in automotive foam system manufacturing is looking for a Process Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. If you have a background in urethane foam or injection molding - this is your chance to grow your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

What Youll Do:
  • Monitor and maintain foam system process parameters and ensure part quality.
  • Set up and oversee urethane/foam molding machines.
  • Troubleshoot and correct part defects in real time.
  • Conduct reactivity and density checks daily to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers to support development and continuous improvement.
  • Train production personnel on mold prep demold techniques and spray applications.
  • Document processes and maintain work instructions and setup sheets.
  • Support PPAP and prototype production as needed.
What You Bring:
  • 2 3 years of experience in urethane processing (injection molding experience a plus).
  • 3 5 years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills in manufacturing foam processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 standards and plant operations.
  • Ability to operate and adjust metering equipment and plant machinery.
  • Robotic programming skills are a plus!
  • Strong math communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
