Job Summary:
This position is for a Cath Lab Technologist responsible for providing skilled technical support during a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures. The role requires proficiency in various procedures equipment operation and collaboration with the healthcare team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills a commitment to patient safety and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with on-call and weekend requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Performing scrubbing monitoring and assisting with procedures such as Balloon Angioplasty PCI Stents Thrombectomy Impella insertion Left & Right Heart Catheterization and Rotablader.
- Assisting with Structural Heart & TAVR procedures.
- Utilizing PA lines and telemetry equipment.
- Managing patient care in a Cath Lab setting including potentially a patient holding area.
- Performing EKGs and interpreting rhythms.
- Assisting with IV starts and conscious sedation (preferred).
- Participation in complex PCI procedures.
- Floating to EP (rare).
- On-call duties including weekend and weekday call back.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- RCIS OR ARRT certification.
- Experience with scrub monitor PA lines and Telemetry.
- Experience with Balloon Angioplasty PCI Stents Thrombectomy Impella insertion Left & Right Heart Catheterization and Rotablader.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Circulating experience.
- IV start experience.
- Conscious sedation experience.
- Experience with Watchman Procedures Septal Closure Ablations Coil Embolization and Filter Placement.
- Advanced EKG interpretation skills.
Special Considerations:
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
- Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation of shifts.
- On-call responsibilities include one day a week and one weekend per four-week schedule with potential fluctuations based on call-outs.
- Floating to EP is rare but may be required.
- Unit utilizes EPIC and MAC Lab systems.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- 4 x 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
- 10-hour shifts.
- 13-week assignment.
