Job Summary:
This Team Lead 2 position supervises a portion of the MaineIT team supporting the Department of Educations information systems. The role requires leading a team of System Analysts using servant leadership ensuring project completion adherence to policies and workflow improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams resolve conflicts and foster a continuous learning environment. Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills are essential along with experience in Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of System Analysts.
- Ensure adherence to MaineIT policies and organizational Working Agreements.
- Analyze identify and implement workflow improvement opportunities.
- Liaise across teams resolving conflicts and impediments.
- Coordinate team assignments and ensure equitable work distribution.
- Resolve and prevent operational support issues.
- Advance adoption and utilization of Use Case documentation.
- Advance automation and usage of SDLC Operational metrics reporting.
- Champion and expand utilization of Application Deployment Certification processes.
- Manage and coordinate small projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with business users and managers.
- Work closely with various functional areas of an IT organization.
- Provide oversight for staff assigned to projects and tasks.
- Coach and foster a continuous learning environment.
- Accomplish tasks timely with limited supervision.
- Provide high-level customer support while maintaining positive relationships.
- Ensure tasks are assigned completed on time and of appropriate quality.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
- Knowledge of phased-base and iterative software development life cycles and overall project management life cycle.
- Experience with test planning execution and acceptance criteria.
