Job Summary:
This Security Architect role requires a seasoned professional with 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise architecture. The position focuses on designing secure enterprise and cloud systems implementing Zero Trust principles conducting risk assessments and threat modeling and collaborating with IT and DevOps teams. Experience in public sector or transportation is a plus.

The position focuses on designing secure enterprise and cloud systems implementing Zero Trust principles conducting risk assessments and threat modeling and collaborating with IT and DevOps teams. Location: Buffalo New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Design secure enterprise and cloud system architectures.
- Support secure network segmentation and Zero Trust principles.
- Conduct architecture risk assessments and threat modeling.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement secure solutions.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- 8 years of cybersecurity and enterprise architecture experience.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud security frameworks and secure design.
- At least one of the following certifications: CISSP (with ISSAP preferred) CASP GSEC GIAC Security Essentials Certification.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-207 (Zero Trust) CIS Benchmarks FedRAMP FISMA NIST CSF and FIPS 199/200.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud security frameworks and secure design.
- At least one of the following certifications: CISSP (with ISSAP preferred) CASP GSEC GIAC Security Essentials Certification.
