Job Summary:
This position is for a Radiology/Cardiology Technologist in a short-term acute care hospital. The technologist will float between units performing x-ray procedures and related duties according to established protocols and standards. The role requires adherence to a set block schedule.

Location: Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing x-ray procedures on patients across various units.
- Adhering to established safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment.
- Following established departmental procedures and protocols.
- Adhering to established safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT certification (or equivalent) in Radiology/Cardiology.
- Current state license/certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating various x-ray equipment.
- Understanding of radiation safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current state license/certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating various x-ray equipment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with a variety of imaging modalities.
- Advanced certification in specialized radiology areas.

Special Considerations:
- No on-call required.
- No weekend work required.
- Block scheduling required (Mon-Thurs 10:30 PM - 9:00 AM).
- 48-hour workweek not approved.
- Floating between units is expected.
