Job Summary:
This role is for a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR) at Swedish Health Services in Seattle Washington. The CST will perform a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including scrub duties room setup and assisting with surgical teams. The position requires floating between Swedishs First Hill Cherry Hill and Ballard campuses and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Performing scrub duties for a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Setting up operating rooms for the following days cases.
- Assisting surgical teams in various surgical specialties (Vascular and Thoracic are required; others preferred).
- Accepting feedback and maintaining attention to detail.
- Floating between Swedish Health Services units and campuses as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Washington State license.
- National Certification (NBSTSA).
- BLS certification.
- Ability to scrub all services except transplant.
- Minimum of 2 years experience not required. Will consider less than 2 years of experience first time traveler with the right experience.
- Experience in Vascular and Thoracic surgery.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and detail-oriented.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in Ambulatory OR Teaching Hospital and Trauma settings.
- Experience in General OR Bariatrics Endo/Laparoscopic ENT Plastics Podiatry Transplant Urology Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair Carotid Endartectomy Endovascular Aneurysm Repair.
- IAHCSMM certification.
Special Considerations:
- Floating between First Hill Cherry Hill and Ballard campuses is mandatory (MTW).
- No call required for this position.
- Previous permanent employees of Swedish First Hill OR units are not eligible. Non-Swedish permanent employees must have been separated for at least 3 months to be eligible.
- All agency staff must float to other qualified Swedish Health Services units and/or campuses as requested.
- Scrubs are provided.
- Return to Office (RTO): A maximum of 5 days excluding holidays is approved for an automatic offer; anything exceeding this requires manager review.
- Patient age group: Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics.
Scheduling:
- Days: Monday Tuesday Wednesday.
- Floating between campuses required.
