Job Summary:
This position is for an MRI Technologist at a tertiary care hospital. The role involves performing MRI scans on patients requiring proficiency in operating MRI equipment and adhering to safety protocols. The successful candidate will possess a New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license with injection certification and have at least two years of experience in MRI (preferred). The schedule consists of evening and weekend shifts including holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans on patients.
- Operating and maintaining MRI equipment.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Patient preparation and positioning.
- Image acquisition and quality control.
- Charting and record keeping (Epic).
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license.
- Injection certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in MRI (preferred).
