Role Profile
Lloyds List Intelligence has proven success across the globe with offices in APAC (Singapore China Hong Kong and Japan) EMEA (UK UAE) and USA. We now look to further expand our global footprint and add a location that gives us the capability to build teams of highly talented colleagues and deliver growth in our Technology Data and Product functions.
We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to oversee and mentor multiple engineers who are each embedded in different Scrum teams. You will manage and coach your direct reports ensuring they have the support resources and guidance needed to excel. You will also contribute to solutions engineering by troubleshooting difficult technical problems guiding high-level design choices and collaborating with architects DevOps and other leads. This role focuses on people leadership while maintaining a high level of technical involvement to keep solutions robust and well-aligned with business goals.
This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Head of Head of Software Engineering. This role offers balanced working in our Chennai office.
