Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources: Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment onboarding performance management training & development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Industrial Relations: Manage all aspects of industrial relations including union negotiations grievance handling disciplinary actions and ensuring harmonious labor relations.
  • Administration: Supervise general plant administration facility management security and statutory compliance related to the plant.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all labor laws company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on HR-related matters contributing to overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree (e.g. MBA in HR MSW) preferred.
  • 15 years of progressive experience in HR with a significant portion in a manufacturing plant environment specifically handling IR.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex industrial relations scenarios and union environments.
  • Thorough knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
