Role: SAP Project Manager
Location: NY/NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension /conversation)
Job Description
Lead SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Plan execute and monitor project timelines budgets and resources
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with IT finance supply chain and other business units to gather requirements and ensure system alignment35.
- System Configuration: Oversee SAP system configuration and customization to meet business needs
- Risk Management: Identify and resolve project issues ensuring seamless integration with other systems
Personal Attributes:
- Strong Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Thrive in high-pressure environments with multiple priorities.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale IT projects preferably in SAP environments.
- Experience in managing complex SAP environments with multiple modules and integrations.
Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA and related modules.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: PMP or similar project management certifications.
- Industry Experience: Experience in financial services specifically insurance SAP Implementations
