Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location: Shepherdsville Kentucky 40165
Type: 3 months Contract
Shifts: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (1st) 2:00pm to 10:30pm (2nd)
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor to join our company. They will be responsible for ensuring maintenance of healthcare compliance standards for operations and departments and involve in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) reviewing client and providing facility work instructions trains personnel on regulatory requirements and maintain quality documentation systems. They will be part of the audit programs and will need to manage risk assessment for healthcare and food product transportation while supervising QA specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with internal teams clients and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance standards
- Develop maintain and update quality documents procedures and standard operating procedures
- Supervise mentor and develop quality assurance specialists and team members
- Design and execute comprehensive quality system training programs for personnel
- Conduct internal audits and oversee external audit programs with follow-up on outcomes
- Assess and address transportation risks associated with healthcare and food products
- Communicate quality policies and objectives across operational departments
- Review and approve client work instructions and facility procedures
- Maintain current knowledge of healthcare quality and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required (Science background preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience
- Demonstrated supervisory and team development experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Must have legal regulatory and compliance framework understanding
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Healthcare quality standards and requirements Audit program management and execution SOP development and implementation and Risk assessment methodologies
- Must be willing to travel via air public transportation and rental vehicles
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (freezer conditions)
- Flexibility for overtime as operational needs require
- Strong communication and training delivery capabilities
