We are hiring Residential Social Care Worker for a Community-based organisation that provides a wide range of health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in Dublin Ireland
Responsibilities- Evaluate existing new and prospective patients based on their needs desires and limitations
- Maintain constant communication with residents while addressing their concerns and goals and helping them keep positive attitudes
- Coordinate with PT and OT departments to assist in helping residents feel comfortable and confident
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines
- Develop care plans for residents and provide therapeutic support as needed
Requirements
- QQI Level 7 / 8 Bachelor Degree in Social Care related qualifications or equivalent - example: Psychology
- Registered with or eligible to register with CORU by November 2025.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communion skills.
- Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Full clean manual driving license (This is an essential requirement for some of our services)
- Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
- Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.

Candidates must be eligible to register for CORU Registration, possess a QQI Level 7 or 8 degree in social care or a similar field, and show proof in advance in order to be considered for this position. Experience working in the disability area and familiarity with HIQA Standards would be beneficial. For this role, a fully valid manual driving license is also necessary.
Education
A current NMBI registration with a BSc in nursing and/or healthcare services management, or an equivalent degree, is preferred.
