Warehouse Support Team Member

Shift:6:30am-3pm

The Role:
As a Warehouse Associate you will contribute to CAVAssuccess by receiving and unloading truckloads of raw materials and finishedgoods loading outgoing shipments keeping the warehouse organized stagingwork-in-progress dry goods and picking materials for production orders. Youwill serve as the link between the warehouse and food production.

What Youwill Do:

Receive incoming deliveries and properly warehouse refrigerated and dry rawmaterials.
Maintain the cleanliness of the docks dry warehouseand cold storage rooms.

Safelyoperate material handling equipment including forklifts reach trucks andpallet jacks maintaining required safety training and certifications.

Abideby policies and procedures that support the service mindset

Managetimeline expectations within and across teams deliver on our responsibilitiesaccordingly
Maintain organization of raw materials and finishedgood storage locations.
Support minor maintenance of dock and material handlingequipment.
Use pick lists to select raw materials from warehouselocations and deliver them to the processing floor and maintain documentationas required.
Pick pack and palletize outgoing orders and loadoutbound trucks. Keep documentation as required.
Support operations through periodic inventory countsand inbound/outbound product coordination.

Operatethe ERP and WMS systems using scan guns and tablets.

The Qualifications:

2 years experienceworking in a warehouse environment

2 years of experience operating material handling equipmentincluding forklifts in a tight environment.

Food manufacturing/warehousing experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to workindependently.

Ability to conversewith team members in both English and Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements:

Physicaldexterity ability to lift up to push/pull pump jackswith up to 2500 lbs. Weight on.

Theability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry cold)

Theability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time

Mustbe able to identify assess and observe detail

Abilityto communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.

Abilityto squat kneel bend and twist

Abilityto work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Allergens:We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients. Team membersmust be able to work with these ingredients.
