Job Summary
UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing inpatient Gastroenterology team in Rockford Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a leading digestive health program at the regions preferred health system.
As part of our team you will be responsible for diagnosing treating and managing a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a GI setting and be passionate about patient care.
Position Highlights:
- Flexible Scheduling
- Collaborate with a team of advanced gastroenterologists to provide care at our 350-bed UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital
- Work alongside a comprehensive interdisciplinary cancer team at the Carbone Cancer Center Rockford with over 70% market share.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including quaternary support from UW Health University Hospital
- Serve a primary market population of 350000 and a secondary market of over 750000.
Qualifications:
- Active NP or PA license in Illinois (or the ability to obtain one prior to hire).
- Experience in gastroenterology is preferred but new graduates with a strong interest in GI are encouraged to apply.
