• Intermediate knowledge of physiology exercise technique body mechanics and general fitness principles
• Personal training and/or group fitness certifications through: ACSM ACE PTA NASM NCSA AFFA ISSA or NFPT (Preferable but not mandatory - we can assist in the certification process). If not certified - a 4 year degree in Health sciences kinesiology or similar will qualify.
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
• Positive motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Project confidence and energy on a microphone
• Flexible to work some morning evening and/or weekend hours as needed
• Group fitness experience and/or personal training
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 60 Lbs

• Build relationships with people in our community

• Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they arent
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Ensure the safety of participants
• Provide options for exercises to accommodate various skill levels

About Us

Orangetheory is a science-based full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class led by a highly trained and certified coach members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
