Chess at Three is the only program in the world that teaches kids as young as 3 to play chess through fun silly storytelling. And guess what You dont need to be a chess master if you can tell a story you can teach with us.
Were rapidly growing with over 100 tutors reaching 15000 children weekly in NYC LA and beyond. Now were looking for bilingual (English/Spanish) tutors in New York to help bring our unique story-based learning to even more families.
What Youll Do
Teach kids (ages 310) how to play chess using our story-based method
Use your bilingual skills to connect with Spanish-speaking families and communities
Deliver in-home and in-school lessons using our ready-made curriculum
Build meaningful relationships with families kids and our community
What Were Looking For
Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English
Great with kids animated fun and full of heart
Experience as a teacher tutor performer or early childhood professional
Self-starter mindset youre organized responsible and proactive
Background in hospitality customer service or community building is a plus
Familiarity with chess is helpful but not required
A Bachelors degree is preferred
Must pass a background check
Details
$40/hour starting rate
Top tutors earn up to $2100/week
Part-time contractor with potential for full-time employment
Flexible schedule: after school weekends and choose-your-own hours
