Job Description
What you will get to do:
- Lead the companys systems engineering development of process components and system design that meet customer requirements internal and industry standards and internal cost and margin requirements
- Develop the process and designs for both proposals and new projects
- Collaborate with sales engineer and outside vendors to develop and deliver optimal solutions
- Lead onsite customer technical engagement including technical workshops installations and post installation service and support
- Develop new system recipes for processing customer specific materials
- Perform process engineering activities in all project phases and according to the GTF product development process including feasibility/economic studies conceptual design identification and evaluation of alternatives front-end design detail engineer construction and start up/commissioning
- Conduct trials and tests to validate new processes and equipment
- Train production staff on new processes and procedures
What will make you successful:
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineer Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in food and beverage industry
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing requirements and safety standards
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and the usage of related software and tools
- Strong project management analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Experience in industrial automation and system controls
- Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America
