The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub is looking for passionate individuals to help shape a more inclusive skilled workforce across Lancashire. We use data-driven insights to support economic growth and opportunity for all.

Were committed to delivering the Connect to Work programmean exciting DWP initiative helping people with disabilities health conditions or complex barriers find and stay in meaningful employment.

Join us as an Employer Engagement Lead to help build a better Lancashire.

As the Employer Engagement Lead you will:

  • Promote the Connect to Work programme to employers across Lancashire fostering inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to work.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local regional and national employers promoting inclusive hiring practices and supported employment models.
  • Collaborate with Employment Specialists Local Authorities and Service Providers to identify suitable roles and support recruitment efforts.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on disability confidence and inclusive recruitment.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in employer engagement business development or recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive hiring and supported employment models.
  • Excellent communication networking and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive organised approach with a passion for making a difference.
