Job Description

We are currently seeking a Receiver for ourMississauga Distribution Centrelocated at333 Matheson Blvd West.
As a Receiver you would be responsible for receiving products into the warehouse according to procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload all incoming products off the trailers.
- Check inspect examine and count all products being unloaded for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Informs the warehouse management of any discrepancies on purchase orders.
- Document all overages shortages and damages.
- Ensures that the drivers signature is on all paperwork.
- Tag product.
- Investigate variances in received products.
- Understands and follows all safe work practices and rules.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma GED or equivalent skills and experience.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn in-house computer programs.
- Ability to learn in-house inventory management systems.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 100 pounds.
- Operates various equipment (dock levellers hand trucks garbage baler cardboard baler lift truck etc.)
- Demonstrate the companys Values.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Able to conduct physical work in warm and cold conditions.
- Flexible schedule requirements including evenings and weekends.
- Available to work overtime as required.
