As a Forklift Operator (Material Handler) you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Calgary Manufacturing facility where we design and build modular buildings. This is a full time permanent role.
What Else You Get To Do:
- Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
- Operate Forklift and to unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
- Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
- Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
- Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations.
- Assist with garbage and recycling removal process.
- Support the Production team with line moves as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Ability to work scheduled shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday) but flexibility may be required at times to work 8:00 to 4:30 pm.
- Certified Forklift Operator License is desirable.
- Previous Forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle counts.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and deliver results on time
- Comfortable using ERP and any other relevant software
