Job Summary
The Manager develops implements and monitors contract compliance to hold contracted partners accountable for the terms in the contract agreements. Contracted areas include but are not limited to LSU Dining LSU Bookstore the beverage (Coke) and snack (Ten M) vending operations UPS and ATMs. Responsible for ensuring contract partners adherence to contract terms in operational areas including the following: facilities maintenance equipment work orders university assets facility improvements and renovations capital project support and tracking safety sanitation food quality health inspections pest control pricing and service level agreements. Also tracks and monitors expenditures schedules quality control and documentation of all Auxiliary Services facilities projects. Supervises a Facilities Coordinator who monitors general and preventative maintenance repairs asset inventory and quality assurance in all contracted area. Completes special projects as assigned. Involves some evenings/nights occasional duty for extended business hours and coverage during campus emergencies.
Job Responsibilities
Develops implements and monitors contract compliance to hold contracted vendors/partners accountable for the terms in the contract agreements. Responsible for ensuring contract partners adherence to contract terms in operational areas including the following: facilities maintenance equipment work orders university assets facility improvements and renovations capital project support and tracking safety sanitation food quality health inspections pest control pricing and service level agreements. Sends detailed communications to contract partners re: non-compliance in addition to holding biweekly meetings with LSU Dining management staff to ensure compliance in these areas. Update and improve compliance policies and procedures as needed. 50%
Tracks and monitors expenditures schedules approvals quality control and documentation of Auxiliary Services facilities projects. This includes large capital projects all PDC run projects and all vendor run projects whether a foodservice capital project renovation/construction or a national or local brand upgrade/refresh. Attends all facilities project meetings. Ensures project schedules and budgets are documented and accurate to agreed upon terms.10%
Monitors PMs for Auxiliary Services facilities to ensure adherence to agreed upon schedules for inspections repairs and remediation. Update PMs with any necessary additions or revisions. PMs include Auxiliary Services PMs for items such as fire alarms roofs grease traps elevator and escalators HVAC hoods boilers and fire suppression systems. Identifies potential risks and vulnerabilities and proposed plans of action to the Director of Operations.15%
Supervises a Facilities Coordinator who monitors general and preventative maintenance repairs asset inventory and quality assurance in all contracted areas including LSU Dining LSU Bookstore UPS and the beverage (Coke) and snack (Ten M) vending operations and ATMs.20%
Completes special projects as assigned. Performs other job-related duties as assigned or required. 5%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and three years of related experience. LSU values skills experience and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are

Additional Requirements:
This position is classified as a safety and security-sensitive position. These positions are subject to drug screens per PS-67/FASOP HR-04. This position is considered emergency essential and may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18. This position regularly engages in financial matters including handling credit cards cash grant funds or other university funds and must undergo a credit check per FASOP HR-04.
