Summary: Provide psychological assessment and counseling to students in accordance with the special education rules and regulations and/or student plans. An established working knowledge of mental health and the treatment of effective and behavioral disorders and excellent communication interpersonal organizational and time management : Masters degree in school psychology or psychologyEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Providing individual and group counseling as and evaluating psychological tests and preparing students with diverse lived experiences and identities to process and manage their and counseling teachers parents and caregivers about and implementing intervention programs to address behavioral issues and learning and diagnosing students to determine eligibility for special willingness and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity equity and Duties as assignedReports directly to the Director of Student Support successful candidate will have:Experience with and understanding of collaborative school models using a MTSS is highly desirable. Experience with trauma-informed and restorative practicesWe encourage women people of the global majority LGBTQIA individuals people with disabilities foreign-born residents older members of society and individuals from diverse lived experiences and backgrounds to apply.
