Overview
Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology
Location: 8380 Colesville Road Suite 400 Silver Spring MD 20910
Schedule: Per diem; potential for part time status
Compensation: $55/hour (for per diem status)
Our Silver Spring NovaCare Rehabilitation center continues to grow and is seeking a physical therapist (PT) with a special interest in oncology to serve our orthopedic and oncology patients on per diem basis. Ideal candidates would have outpatient experience. Lymphedema experience is a plus.
Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team which provides rehabilitative services to help improve the quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population.
ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Our vision is to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care for people affected by cancer. Our network of 900 specially trained multidisciplinary therapists work closely with oncologists and people affected by cancer to create personalized rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities
- Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
- Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
- Complete and maintain required trainings
- Maintain compliance with government regulations
- Evaluate treat and direct treatment for patients
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
- Licensed clinical outpatient orthopedic experience
- Lymphedema experience/certification
