CAD Drafter
St. Paul MN Contract to Hire $22-$26/hour
Konik is partnered with a growing and innovative client in Saint Paul seeking to add an entry-level CAD Drafter to their team. In this role you will create various drawings for installations prototypes packaging and similar work supporting a diverse set of business units. The CAD Drafter will work with manufacturing personnel to resolve drafting-related issues and participate in new product development projects. Our client is a leader in their industry with a host of capabilities and locations across the country. CAD Drafter Responsibilities:
- Use drafting and design tools to detail and design large and small installations
- Process engineering change requests (ECR) as required.
- Verify dimensional integrity of part details materials to be used the relation of one part to another and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project.
- Draw finished designs from sketches assemblies and detailed drawings for special sales orders or changes to standard products.
- Associates or Certificate in Drafting; 1 year or relevant experience new grads considered
- Training and/or experience with AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar programs
- Background in architecture graphics or mechanical design is beneficial
