About Our Client
ErthTech Talent is working with OptiGrid a company that helps EV fleet owners secure their charging infrastructure lightning-fast for a fraction of the cost. Their battery-integrated platform delivers fast flexible and grid-independent charging for fleets and beyond. As they expand into new markets they are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development of their innovative EV charging solutions.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy roadmap and execution for OptiGrids EV charging products. This role requires a visionary who can deeply understand customer needs translate them into compelling product features and drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions for EV fleet owners and beyond. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of EV charging by optimizing product offerings and ensuring a seamless user experience for our transformative solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- 5 years proven experience as a Product Leader with a strong track record of delivering successful products particularly in the hardware and software integrated domains.
- Deep understanding of the EV charging landscape including market trends customer pain points and competitive dynamics.
- Ability to define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy and translate it into actionable product roadmaps.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on product design development and testing.
- Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills capable of engaging with executives engineering teams and end-users.
Nice to Have
- Experience with charging protocols (e.g. OCPP OCPI) and related technologies.
- Background in energy management systems microgrids or distributed energy resources (DERs).
- Experience with hardware development lifecycles including firmware and software integration.
- Familiarity with IoT device management data telemetry and cybersecurity principles for connected hardware and software systems.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and working with UI/UX teams.
