SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Supervises and directs production personnel in the manufacturing department. Monitors and adjusts resources as needed to ensure a smooth workflow through the shift.

Under direct supervision of the Plant Manager

Performs full cycle direct supervision for all Warehouse and Assembly colleagues
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and monitors and mentors all production and warehouse staff in all areas including but not limited to daily job functions and goals facilitates training and development of entire staff has effective communication performance management and disciplinary action as needed.

Understands Lean principles and helps implement lean practices. Must remain compliant with all required training including but not limited to Work Order documentation SOPs Inspections and machine operations.

Lead or assist in projects or objectives established by the Company or direct management

Ability to give attention to detail with a quality conscious thought process. Must be able to work well independently as well as with a team and rotates to all manufacturing areas as needed

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required for this position.
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Speak read write and understand English effectively
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Must be proficient in navigating a computer for basic functions such as email and system access.
- Experience with Oracle a plus
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing is a plus
