POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs interprets and evaluates routine and complex diagnostic procedures applying the principles theories and techniques of Medical laboratory sciences.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Bachelors degree in a chemical physical biological or medical laboratory science.
OR
Associates Degree from a college/university and successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLT program.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Certification (Medical Lab Science Chemistry Hematology Microbiology Blood Banking Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum: N/A
Preferred: One year healthcare or lab related work experience
