This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic workforce by troubleshooting hardware and software issues maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless technology experiences across the company.
As a specialty lines insurance provider operating within the Excess & Surplus lines segment Kinsale underwrites a wide range of Property Casualty and Specialty insurance products. This role provides hands-on experience with device management system updates imaging and collaborative IT operations.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via phone email chat and in-person interactions
Create and manage helpdesk tickets; track issues through resolution
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops laptops and mobile devices
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for problem resolution
System Maintenance & Device Management
Deploy and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
Support system imaging updates and ongoing maintenance
Evaluate and test new hardware/software versions and recommend upgrades
Participate in an on-call rotation for remote support during evenings and weekends
IT Process Compliance
Adhere to established policies regarding change management asset tracking and information security
Maintain documentation of procedures and resolutions
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field relevant certifications or equivalent work experience
Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Windows 10/11 Microsoft Office and desktop support tools
Experience with Active Directory WSUS SCCM Intune PDQ or similar management platforms
Familiarity with network technologies (DNS DHCP NSlookup) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Basic understanding of MacOS Linux and telephone systems; Intermediate MacOS experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. route cables and position equipment in office environments
