Service Technician Model Tobacco Richmond VA
Hourly Rate: $25/hr (based on experience and certifications) Phone Allowance Bonus Potential
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
Model Tobacco a premier residential property in Richmond VA is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate is experienced in residential maintenance customer-focused and thrives working both independently and as part of a team.
At WPM Real Estate Management our Service Technicians play a vital role in ensuring our communities remain safe functional and welcoming. In this position youll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
Responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Performing preventative maintenance as directed
Preparing units for new residents (turns/make-readies)
Completing general maintenance tasks and repairs
Handling basic appliance repairs
Keeping property grounds clean orderly and safe
Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
What Were Looking For:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proven skills in general maintenance including basic plumbing electrical carpentry and appliance repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to safety
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
35 years of experience in residential or commercial maintenance
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Availability for on-call rotation including evenings weekends and holidays
