7pm - 7:30am/ Full Time/ 36 Hours
Salary range - $16.10-$20.53
Wereseeking aCardiac Monitor Tech for Emory Saint Joseph Hospital responsible for being a capable technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety for all patients.
This individual will:
- Observes interprets and records the telemetry recordings for monitored patients. May monitor alarms where applicable.
- Delivers and applies telemetry boxes to patients.
- Ensures correct patient is being monitored.
- Reports significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the health care team.
- Communicates pertinent information to patients as necessary.
- Produces accurate and complete documentation. Complies with handoff communication process.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified rhythm analyst technician (CRAT) preferred.
- Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course preferred or successfully passing an arrhythmia exam on hire.
