Job Title: CT Tech Travel
Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and computed tomography procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The technologist must be proficient in both CT and general X-ray modalities able to start IVs for contrast administration and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with other departments to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities: -
Perform CT and general radiographic imaging procedures according to established protocols.

Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Establish and maintain IV access for contrast administration as needed.
-
Operate and maintain imaging and processing equipment safely and effectively.

Evaluate image quality and ensure proper transmission to PACS.

Document procedures accurately within the EMR and radiology information systems.

Work collaboratively with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Follow all infection-control radiation-safety and departmental policies.
Qualifications: -
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License required

Fluoroscopy Permit (CDPH) required or obtained within 6 months of hire

ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
-
BLS (AHA) certification required
-
Venipuncture competency required for IV contrast administration

Ability to perform both CT and X-ray procedures independently required

Minimum 2 years of recent imaging experience required per company policy
