Job Description

How will your role impact First Command

The Premier Services Group (PSG) is the primary support center for First Commands High Net Worth clients and field partners and has a deep culture of client-obsessed service and the highest ethical standards. The Premier Services Specialist I role supports our clients employees and field partners with a full range of servicing by responding to inbound calls supporting new account opening and onboarding money movement requests account corrections problem-solving offline report monitoring and acting as a client advocate in all situations.

What will you be doing

  • Process account updates including money movements and miscellaneous operations.
  • Resolve complex issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Enhance the client and advisor experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with advisors Home Office employees and fund partners.
  • Propose process improvement ideas and analyze reports.
  • Work on special projects with minimal direction.
  • Communicate within the organization and with external partners.
  • Monitor account transfers and cost basis.
  • Process financial transactions accurately.
  • Interpret complex trust documents for proper account administration.
  • Document details of all client and advisor interactions.

What skills experience & qualifications do you need

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.

Work Experience

  • 3 years customer service experience required.
  • 2 years bank or brokerage firm experience preferred.
  • 2 years contact center experience preferred.

Certifications

  • FINRA SIE and Series 99 required (within 120 days of employment).

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with investment operations including compliance guidelines set by FINRA SEC and other regulatory bodies.
  • Workload Management: Ability to handle tasks efficiently to meet same-day service standards while maintaining accuracy.
  • Document Review: Proficiency in reviewing documents and data for completeness and accuracy addressing any discrepancies effectively.
  • Product Expertise: Strong understanding of mutual funds managed accounts brokerage accounts annuities and exposure to separately managed accounts and alternative investments.
  • Client Service: Providing exceptional service as a resource and point of contact for internal and external clients and business partners.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required.
