Summary
As a Senior Product Designer you will be responsible for the end-to-end design process of our digital products creating impactful experiences that align with user needs and business goals. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers Engineers and cross-functional teams to shape multi-channel consumer-facing applications and web platforms. Your expertise in user-centered design principles will enable you to create scalable user-friendly solutions that drive business success.

About the POS Team
At Jewelers Mutual were excited to revolutionize the jewelry point-of-sale (POS) experience! Our incredible team provides innovative coverage options and smart technology solutions that transform a complex process into a seamless journey for everyone involved. Comprising a passionate Product Manager a creative Product Designer and talented Engineers were collaborating closely to enhance our POS App.
Together were driving business growth by creating user-friendly iOS and Android solutions that empower jewelers to effortlessly integrate insurance into their customer transactions. What Youll Do
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product vision and strategy.
- Produce all design assets including concept designs user flows wireframes user scenarios journey maps mockups etc. ensuring intuitive and seamless user interactions.
- Design user flows navigation systems and interactive prototypes that ensure consistency and coherence across all touchpoints of the user journey.
- Develop high-quality visually appealing interface designs that align with our brand identity enhancing the overall product experience.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design prototypes and validate design decisions iterating on designs based on findings.
- Use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions guiding product improvements with system data trends and user feedback.
- Conduct user research to deeply understand customer needs behaviors and pain points synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Design for multi-channel experiences ensuring usability and scalability across diverse touchpoints.
- Work within a small empowered product team to balance business objectives with user needs collaborating with engineers to ensure smooth implementation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system ensuring consistent design language and experiences across the product suite.
- Balance business priorities with user needs to create impactful experiences.
- Operate effectively in both collaborative environments and autonomously when acting as the sole product designer on a squad.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in User Experience Design Human-Computer Interaction Graphic Design Psychology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in product design.
- Experience designing mobile applications and responsive designs.
- Proven experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers in a squad model to deliver customer-facing products.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research usability testing and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Deep empathy for users with the ability to conduct interviews analyze feedback and prioritize product planning.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
- Helpful but not required: Experience designing for native iOS and Android apps in direct-to-consumer environments.
