PROGRAM FACILITATORJOB DESCRIPTION
Organization Overview:
MBK Cambridge empowers youth and young adults through comprehensive educational and developmental programs focused on life skills financial literacy career exploration and health/wellness. We are seeking passionate and experienced Program Facilitators to join our team and make a positive impact on young peoples lives.
Position Summary:
Program Facilitators are responsible for designing implementing and evaluating curriculum-based programs in our four core focus areas: Life Skills Financial Education Career Exploration/Life Planning and Health & Wellbeing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in at least two focus areas while maintaining competency across all programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Development and Delivery
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops and activities in assigned program areas
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum materials and learning objectives
- Track participant progress and program outcomes
- Maintain required documentation and reporting
- Adapt programming based on participant feedback and needs
Specific Program Area Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe inclusive learning environment that encourages authentic dialogue and personal growth while building trust among participants
- Design and deliver engaging workshops that blend practical skills with meaningful discussion adapting content based on participant needs and group dynamics
- Track and support individual participant progress through consistent documentation meaningful feedback and one-on-one check-ins when needed
- Model professional behavior and personal accountability while building genuine relationships with participants that encourage their growth and development
- Collaborate with other facilitators to ensure program consistency share best practices and contribute to continuous program improvement through regular feedback and evaluation
- Complete detailed weekly reports on program activities and participant progress
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 3 years experience working with youth in educational or community settings
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Google Workplace and program management software
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass CORI/SORI background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (Spanish Haitian Creole or other relevant languages)
- Experience with curriculum development
- Knowledge of youth development principles
- Certification in relevant areas (financial education health education etc.)
- Experience with program evaluation and outcome measurement
