  • International Training Specialist (Medical Affairs)
  • Location: Flexible within UK ( occasional global travel to conferences events)
  • 60000 per annum

ISR are seeking a Training Specialist with a background in eye care and ophthalmic pharmaceutical products to drive strategic training initiatives across their EMEAI (Europe Middle East Africa and India) region providing the training initiatives and programmes for your colleagues to succeed in their roles and stay ahead of the competition.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in surgical/clinical training ideally within the medical affairs life sciences or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • A solid understanding of eye and vision care ophthalmic pharmaceutical products and surgical treatments would be very useful for this role.
  • Technologically agile with the ability to adapt quickly to new software (e.g. Oracle Learn Salesforce).
  • Experienced in training development of territory managers and sales people to deliver across multiple platforms and audiences.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite; moderate-to-advanced PowerPoint proficiency is essential.
  • Educated to Bachelors degree level or equivalent industry qualifications.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEAI region as and when required.

Role and Responsibilities:

Lead the coordination and delivery of on-boarding and induction training for commercial teams and territory managers with a focus on disease areas sales techniques and internal platforms (e.g. Salesforce Oracle).
Develop and manage a structured curriculum within Oracle Learn ensuring learning paths are tailored by experience level and function.
Create and deliver virtual training modules based on clinical data and evidence-based practice leveraging Teams/Zoom and e-learning platforms.
Establish and report on training KPIs and learning analytics feeding into commercial leadership dashboards acting as the regional interface with Global Training Medical Affairs and Marketing.
Contribute to cross-regional and global training events including annual sales meetings conferences and symposia.
