What we need...

Due to a period of sustained growth we are looking to recruit a Scrum Master to join our Solutions Team.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery you will be working with multiple Scrum teams and alongside Product Owners to motivate and engage the teams ensuring they are focussed on value-based outcome and achieving their sprint goals.

The successful candidate is expected to be a skilled facilitator that is passionate about helping people to thrive and achieve their potential. As a Scrum Master youll be responsible for guiding coaching and mentoring diverse agile development teams across multiple solutions.

What you will be doing

• Coaching your teams to understand and apply the principles of Scrum adopt the desired mindset and behaviours and take the next step on their agile journey
• Nurturing a psychologically safe environment built on trust where commitment focus openness respect and courage are valued and where problems can be raised without fear of blame retribution or being judged
• Facilitating regular Scrum ceremonies
• Acting as a process owner for your teams driving improvements maximising efficiencies and increasing autonomy ownership and accountability across the team
• Working closely with Product Owners to make sure sprints are aligned to project goals and the product backlog is maintained in good shape and ready for the next sprint
• Motivating and engaging the teams and ensuring they are focussed on value-based outcomes
• Using strong knowledge of agile methodologies to enable one or more cross-functional teams to deliver value to TerraQuests clients
• Making use of metrics and measures to drive insight and continuous improvement to ensure the teams can realise their potential
• Ensuring that any impediments are made visible and will facilitate resolution of any issues affecting the teams flow
• Managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating meetings discussions decision making and conflict resolution
• Coaching and mentoring the teams and the wider business to encourage an agile mindset and ensure a positive and collaborative environment

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be a team player with demonstrable evidence of strong leadership communication and influencing skills within cross-functional Scrum teams.

They will have experience in building and maintaining high performing software teams and a proven track record of delivery in a fast-paced environment.

They will have a clear alignment to the Agile values and principles and be a highly motivational individual who can get the best out of people.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience of agile and Scrum development methodologies and frameworks.

Previous knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps and Miro is desirable.
