Job Description:
The UPS Feeder Driver utilizes safe transportation methods to get to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.
FULL-TIME CLASS 1 DRIVER Merritt BC
UPS is currently looking for Full-Time Class 1 Drivers (Tractor-Trailer Operations) to work based in Merritt BC.
In this role you will operate tractor-trailers to transport cargo to designated locations ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Your responsibilities will include adhering to all traffic and safety regulations conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Job Details:
- Position: Full-Time Class 1 Driver (Tractor-Trailer Operations)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday*
- Scheduled Shift: varies based on operational requirements*
- Feeder Dispatch Home Station: Merritt BC
*Schedules are based on operational requirements. Shift hours will slightly vary and will be subject to change.
On a daily basis UPS Feeder Drivers are to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle. They should be comfortable using road maps and other trip planning aids and be able to complete their assignments daily.
Responsibilities:
- Drive UPS tractor and trailers safely;
- Follow and execute UPS defensive driving methods;
- Provide outstanding customer service and complete assigned tasks within specified time;
- Adhere to and comply with applicable federal provincial and state laws regulations and/or agency rules;
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned UPS road equipment;
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent Customer Service & Verbal Communications skills;
- Must possess a valid BC Class 1 Drivers License;
- Must have a clean Drivers Abstract;
- Able to occasionally lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted;
