You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailFenway Healths Public Health Department is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist to support data accuracy and integrity across our public health programs. This part-time remote/hybrid role plays a critical function in ensuring compliance with data requirements set by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) Ryan White BPHC and other grant funders supporting public health impact evaluation and funding sustainability.
Primary responsibilities:
Data Entry and Management
Accurately enter client- and service-level data into internal databases and DPH reporting systems in a timely manner.
Upload required data files to secure state servers per program deadlines.
Conduct regular audits of data for accuracy completeness and consistency.
Data Quality Assurance
Review and resolve discrepancies or missing data in collaboration with program staff.
Monitor data for trends that may indicate systemic errors or workflow breakdowns.
Follow protocols for safeguarding sensitive client data in compliance with HIPAA and internal privacy policies.
Staff Support and Training
Assist with documenting and maintaining data entry workflows.
Provide training and technical assistance to program staff on data entry procedures and systems.
Support onboarding of new staff by delivering data systems orientation as needed.
Meets Agency Participatory Expectations:
Adheres to all agency and departmental policies and procedures
Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested
Adheres to established safety policies procedures and precautions
Attends all required meetings in-services and professional trainings
Performs other related duties as required
