Description
Location: Middletown NY
Salary: $72500 Annually
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (40hrs)
On-Site Position
- Manage and maintain servers network communications and system security.
- Ensure data availability and perform regular backups.
- Assist with the configuration and administration of routers firewalls and switches.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers and network infrastructure.
- Crosstrain in desktop support and help desk functions to ensure coverage and operational efficiency.
- Report directly to the IT Director and follow established protocols for task management and escalation.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant business/industry experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer systems and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to quickly adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Microsoft certifications Hyper-V) are a plus.
