Job Description

THE POSITION

Do you have professional auditing experience Are interested in leading high risk audit engagements and want to use your skills to help serve the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania The Bureau of Audits is seeking a dedicated Audit Manager to ensure that taxpayer dollars are being spent as intended. This position gives you the opportunity to performa broad scope of assignments as the result of a risk assessment of all agencies under the Governors jurisdiction.Take the next step in your career with us!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Audit Manager you willbe communicating the progress of assignments or specified issues related to audit work to the Chief of the Special Audit Services Division as well asassigning audit-related work to various team members. Work includes leading a variety of audits engagements and reviews in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards. Responsibilities include evaluating risk assessments developed by staff based on audit objectives reviewing the audit program and objectives and interpreting agreements contracts policies legislation rules and regulations.

You will be expected to adhere to all office policies Commonwealth directives the Code of Conduct and work toward achievement of Office of Comptroller Operations and Bureau of Audits strategic plan objectives. You will have the opportunity to review audit testing in accordance with the audit program questions developed in order to gain an understanding of auditees policies and procedures documents prepared by staff in TeamMate and final reports audit findings and recommendations developed by staff.
