A growing leader in the Aerospace & Defense services sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to drive strategic growth. This is a high-impact role suited for a results-oriented sales expert with deep industry knowledge a consultative approach and a passion for building long-term partnerships.
You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities across OEMs Tier 1 & 2 suppliers and government agencies. Ideal candidates will be self-starters who thrive in a solution-based structured sales process environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across aerospace defense and high-tech markets
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs government agencies and contractors
Present and position services as tailored solutions to complex client challenges
Lead proposal development and manage all phases of the sales cyclefrom prospecting through close
Work cross-functionally with engineering program management and operations teams
Stay up-to-date on market trends competitor activity and client needs
Qualifications:
5 years of successful business development or technical sales experience in the aerospace defense or high-tech sector
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and closing high-value contracts
Strong understanding of government procurement processes contract vehicles and industry regulations
Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both engineers and executives
Experience developing winning proposals and presentations
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)
Experience engaging with industry organizations and networking events
Existing network within the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem
