Job Description

A growing leader in the Aerospace & Defense services sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to drive strategic growth. This is a high-impact role suited for a results-oriented sales expert with deep industry knowledge a consultative approach and a passion for building long-term partnerships.

You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities across OEMs Tier 1 & 2 suppliers and government agencies. Ideal candidates will be self-starters who thrive in a solution-based structured sales process environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across aerospace defense and high-tech markets

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs government agencies and contractors

  • Present and position services as tailored solutions to complex client challenges

  • Lead proposal development and manage all phases of the sales cyclefrom prospecting through close

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering program management and operations teams

  • Stay up-to-date on market trends competitor activity and client needs

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of successful business development or technical sales experience in the aerospace defense or high-tech sector

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and closing high-value contracts

  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes contract vehicles and industry regulations

  • Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both engineers and executives

  • Experience developing winning proposals and presentations

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) Microsoft Word & Excel

  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)

  • Experience engaging with industry organizations and networking events

  • Existing network within the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem
