Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with commercial clients providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance needs
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting networking and attending industry events
- Collaborate with underwriting assistants and account managers to prepare and submit commercial insurance applications and proposals
- Analyze clients risk exposures and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Stay current with market trends insurance products and underwriting guidelines to best serve the needs of clients
- Work closely with the commercial insurance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial insurance with a focus on business development and client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and industry regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in industry software and CRM systems
- A valid insurance producer license
